As baby boomers move into retirement in the next decade the FM industry must develop new markets. However at this stage about half FM businesses are reluctant to change direction; whilst others are already focussed on Gen Y customers.
The FM industry is quite successful at recruiting Gen Y staff but many leave within 12 months.
